Our firm has been handling in-state, interstate and international adoptions for over 30 years. We handle step-parent adoptions, private placement adoptions, placements through Social Services and agency placements. We represent both birth parents and adoptive parents in adoption matters.

We have worked with most adoption agencies in the greater Kansas City area, including but not being limited to: American Adoptions, Adoption & Beyond, Inc., Catholic Charities, LDS Family Services, Christian Family Services, and Adoption & Counseling Services For Families, Inc. We are also familiar with and work with a select group of other attorneys and law firms who practice in this limited area.

If you are receiving a child for adoption out of state, we can work with you on finalization in Missouri and provide legal counsel and complete paperwork necessary with respect to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children.
